When I first I arrived in Paris I did not know who Serge Gainsbourg was, let alone Jane Birkin or their daughter Charlotte, both pictured above. Shocking, I know! The three are French icons and the cultural references are endless. A collection of photos of the singer/songwriter/actor/director is soon to be put on sale on a non-auction basis at Sotheby's Paris.
