I love that the Eiffel Tower is first thing you see when you drive out of the parking garage at the Gare de Montparnasse. What is more welcoming or more emblematic of the city than that? In fact, whenever I see the Eiffel Tower I think, "I live in Paris". For as much as I enjoy getting out of the city, it is even nicer to come home to it.
