Sophie Le Giraffe

I just found out a dear friend of mine is having twins.  I will soon be sending off these two little classic French baby teethers.  In fact I have sent one of these giraffes to each of my girlfriends upon hearing their good news.  That makes a lot of giraffes crossing the Atlantic and elsewhere par avion directly from Paris.

Sophie the giraffe turns 50 this year.  She was designed in France in 1961 (named after the saint's day) by a certain Monsieur Rampeau, a specialist in the fabrication and manipulation of rubber made from Hevea tree sap. 100% natural, it is still traditionally produced to this day. The squeeky giraffe has become a cherished favorite by babies everywhere.

It was even my daughter's favorite. See photos after the break.
