Random Polaroid from Paris

Low flying blimp criss-crossing over Paris this morning.

  1. Have you heard what it's for? I just read today that they are using it to measure the current radioactivity levels of Paris - I'm assuming in response to what's going on in Japan. (ie So that they will be able to detect if any of that radiation is carried through the wind-streams to France).

  2. True. Scary isn't it. You can read the article here: http://actu.voila.fr/actualites/sciences/2011/03/11/un-dirigeable-va-survoler-paris-une-semaine-pour-mesurer-la-radioactivite_7950.html
