France has this wonderful thing - subsidized half-day care, Halte-Garderie, for stay-at-home moms. It is suppose to help you keep your sanity. It does. How great is that! Today, however, is a journée pedégogique and therefore it is closed. As with everything public, you must accept random fermatures, grêves, and the monthly journée pedégogique.
