In Paris it seems that one changes apartments like one changes hats. This year we will reluctantly pack up and and find a new dwelling. It's one of the drawbacks of renting - you can be asked to give up the little spot you call home at any moment. And no, this is not my apartment, sadly. It was the 17th century Marais apartment of M. Christian Lacroix which he sold for $2.6 million. Just a little eye candy. The apartment search is slow and depressing as prices seem to have skyrocketed this last year and no longer rely on any real scale of worth. I dream of 4 meter high ceilings, versailles floors, a chambre de bonne and a terrasse.
Je rêve, je rêve...
