French photographer duo Max & Charlotte have taken on the classic, Where's Waldo (by Martin Handford) or in French, Où est Charlie, to a real life Parisian scale.  They have composed a series of 13 images, each taking one month to produce, in iconic Paris locations.  See the whole series in large scale format and find Charlie (and more) for yourself. 

- Charlie, un personnage grand et maigre, avec un pull à rayures rouges et blanches, des lunettes et un bonnet.

- Félicie : la soeur jumelle quasi à l’identique de Charlie.

- Pouah : version maléfique de Charlie, dans un costume de bagnard jaune et noir.

- un os géant : pour remplacer le chien de Charlie absent de notre série.

- un poids rouge : Un petit poids de sportif rappelant un peu le parchemin dans le livre.

    - la canne : Charlie l’a sur lui dans les livres. Dans cette série, il l’a égarée.

How cute is this Pin the tale on the donkey poster by the French artist, Audrey Jeanne.  Jeanne has teamed up with Chacha who makes wonderful children's games and party favors.  Her beautiful illustrations figure on party invitations, coloring books, stickers and even a bilingual French/English table set.  See her entire collection here.

Bon Week-end

Sleep Elevations 2010 by French artist, Maia Flore

I'm sick with a cold and feel completely sleep deprived. My daughter decided to get up at 6:48am. She always gets up at 6:48am. How do they do that! Our babysitter can't come this week-end, she's gone olive picking in the South of France. So the week-end begins a little bumpy.

We will be drinking hot-chocolate and viewing the Christmas window here.

Searching desperately for mittens like these.

Nathalie Lété Vente de Noël

Nathalie Lété is having a Christmas sale in her atelier in Ivry sur Seine until December 9th.

Lété has made beautiful collections for Vilac, Anthropologie and most recently Monoprix. I love these rugs in her atelier pictured below. She makes limited editions, unique pieces and special orders. They would be adorable in a girls room.
