Johnny Depp in French : Enjoy

I've been nursing a sick child all day, so there is just time for a petit coucou.  I leave you with a few minutes of Johnny Depp and Charlotte Gainsbourg in the longest and most enjoyable elevator ride ever taken in Paris.  Oh and Happy Monday.

Back in Paris for The Tourist

The Tourist premieres this evening in Paris. Brangelina is back in France so I'm guessing there will be a red carpet. The film didn't seem to do so well opening week-end in the States; we'll see how it does in France. I don't think Anthony Zimmer, the 2005 French film it was made after, was a huge success either. I'd like to see it anyway as it is filmed in two cities I have lived in, Paris and Venice. It's always fun to watch a movie and see characters navigate the city in completely impossible ways. In any case, I'll be staying in tonight making holiday cookies for my son's class party. Holiday break begins Friday!

Vanessa for Dinner

The family unanimously demanded spaghetti bolognaise for dinner tonight. My favorite recipe of the moment just happens to be Vanessa Paradis' - I ripped it out of an edition of Madame Figaro. You can have it in French here. I can just imagine her at home slaving away in the kitchen as Johnny Depp watches the kids. I wonder whose idea it was to add the touch of whisky at the end?
